Hotmail account hacked

Now the second time that I have had my hotmail account by a bunch of c***s, sending spam e-mails advertising ipods, blackberrys etc and viagra at knock down prices! was interested myself until i realised they've sent mass e-mails out to all my friends, people i've met over the years, business people, recruitment consultants and generally people I will need to use in the future, and its not making me look very good. So, does anyone know how to stop this problem with hotmail, or, and i'm considering it, closing hotmail down and using another e-mail provider...if I go with this one, is there a web based email provider that anyone can recommend?

I think changing password regularly solves this. May be wrong though

I recommend Google Mail if you do choose to change provider.

Yeah, change your password, but run an anti virus scan first.
