Hard to admit but Dave Day was my best mate in the late 60s early 70s

You've already let the cat out of the bag on that Dave! However, I'd wear it as a badge of honour, I've no doubt playing wing-man to David Van Day was a lot of fun. If you're still in touch could you possibly ask him if I could have Thereza Bazar's phone number?

Here's one I only learnt about recently:

Fanta was invented by the Nazis as a replacement for Coca-Cola which banned from exporting to Germany.

Definitely a lot of women around him, even when he was young. I will ask him

Not quite :)

Coca Cola had a plant there but lost contact with it when the war started.

The head of the plant invented a new drink because he couldn't get the ingredients to make Cola. He wanted to keep the plant going and keep the staff in jobs.

He wasn't a Nazi (refused to join) and when the war was ovee he hadn't over his new invention to the company.

Oddly protecting USA interests in Germany during the war.
