Happy St.George’s Day. What a beautifully apt day it is too.

St.George is more than just a saint, it’s a tradition, it’s a feeling, something that has been with us for centuries. He was killed because of his beliefs and so is worthy of being someone who is representative of this great country. William Shakespeare knew this, hence why he didn’t want St.George to be forgotten, and what a great Englishman he was.

There's some fantastic free Shakespeare online right now.

Starting tonight, there's the very funny National Theatre Twelfth Night, it's on for a week.

You can also find the trio of Donmar Warehouse's all-female plays (Julius Caesar. Henry IV and The Tempest). These are amazing,

(I saw the Julius Caesar sandwiched between Kathy Burke and Mark Lawson and was in the seat behind Deborah Warner)

And there's the RSC Hamlet with Papa Essiedu too.

It's a bardfest right now!
