Hughton said in an interview after the game on Monday that everyone had a meeting the day after the Sheffield Wednesday game last season and they all agreed the next season starts now and we go again.
I also remember Gus's interview after the palace play off defeat.

I loved having Gus as our manager, it was a great time to be a fan. As someone else said he changed the culture of the club for the better, raised the profile and games like Peterborough, Charlton and Southampton away will never be forgotten.

It was however always going to end in tears. I remember someone on here at the time had a signature that said when Gus goes it will be with a dramatic flounce and they weren't wrong.

I will always be grateful for the memories he gave me and wish him, Tarricco and Charlie all the best.
This is my view too.

Enjoy the good times. Promotion seasons don't come along very often. Gus made us a proper team in 2011 and his Amex seasons were not the disaster some now portray. We fell just short but it was great fun, we grew the fanbase which underpinned stadium expansion.
