Stop shitting your pants over bridcutt. I'd be amazed if he was sold in Jan. in the summer maybe yes. Unless we are in the prem. but we'll get a very tidy fee for him!

The thing with Bridcutt is he's worth so much more to us than other teams are willing to pay. He's the man that makes everything happen defensively and also sets up a lot of our breaks or attacks with good, positive passes. We'd have to fork out a lot to find a player as good as him.

If thats the case then we dont sell. Simple as that. Get him to sign an extension next week. Then if clubs dont offer what we think hes worth we simply say no. Its as simple as that. Gus said something similar regarding players wanting to leave who are under contract. If they have a contract but want to leave its tough shit if the club still want them!

Palace wont let zaha go for peanuts so why on earth would we let bridcutt go for peanuts? Gus is a stubborn man so its time he got stubborn in regards to other clubs wanting our players.

Being stubborn is definitely the key thing here. We dont want another Bennett situation where a player leaves for not much money. Gus should be very clear with anyone interested in Bridcutt, or any of our players for that matter, that if they want to put in a bid then it will need to be a hefty amount for us to even consider. Until we reach the premiership there is always going to be the risk of losing our better players, but there's nothing wrong with us putting a high valuation on them.

Sort of dismissed the CMS rumours, talking about him being in the team next week.

I didn't catch all the programme, but came in to hear Chris kamara talking about the "hardest working player in the Championship". Then they showed a selection of his goals, including stunning bicycle kick moment, and then Gus was talking about CMS being the sort of player you don't want to play against - defenders don't want terriers snapping at their heels all the time.

So something gave me the impression Gus isn't listening to the "headless chicken/why hasn't he scored twice as many goals" stuff.... Thank God.
