As most of us watch the majority of games at home I think it is worth reflecting on Gus' home league record since joining us in November 2009. Inheriting Russell Slades team he started off with a thumping 0-3 defeat by Leeds which left us 20th in League 1 and then he got us to finish 13th -

(Season) PLD W D L F A Pts

(2009/10) 15 5 - 3 - 7 16 18 18

(2010/11) 23 17 - 4 - 2 54 22 55

(2011/12) 23 11 - 8 - 4 36 21 41

(2012/13) 12 4 - 6 - 2 17 9 18

73 37- 21- 15 123 68 132

Taking season 2009/10 out of the equation (when he was playing with Slades side) it is an excellent record and doesn't warrant the amount of moaning from some on this board at present. Remember - you only truly appreciate something when it's gone.

Not exactly great reading this season is it though, 6 draws already, we had 8 draws in total last season according to your stats.

We're a fanbase that's constantly blue balled.

Add just two wins (which we deserve more than based on performances) to the W column for this season and it looks a superbly solid record.

It's all about this season, and I'd say that 18 points from a possible 36 is below par, especially given our decent attendances and decent atmosphere.

I disagree. We should have won more this season. Simple as that!

Agree until the bit about the atmosphere, as it has been rubbish this season.
I've got to agree with MK.

We seem so reliant on the opposition fans, when they're not there, it seems like neither are we.

(oh and that's not an 'I'm better than you' comment, as I have been trained not to sing anything EVER)

Looks a pretty good record. We all know there's been too many draws at home recently, but overall, well done Gus

Whilst there's been second season syndrome attendances are up and when the team have done anything the crowd have responded. The place is positively rocking compared to half the grounds in his division.

Deffo, but we don't rock it, when the team aren't rocking.

Unless there's 2000 vocal northerns to bounce off.

It is noisy when you compare it to grounds like Middlesbrough and Derby which are like morgues.
Yeah definitely, even I have managed the odd ALBION.

It just seems symptomatic of all things BHA at the moment, so very very close to greatness, then 'the wind changes direction' and there's nothing.

Living in the past.

Yes, we were great at home.

But we're not anymore despite serious investment in the squad.

It was indeed, & in consecutive seasons better than any of Gus's 4 so far
19-2-2
17-5-1

& I won £5k+....

I was talking about the atmosphere, NOT the results.
