It'll be interesting to see if he plays against Bmuff tomorrow.

If he doesn't then let the Gus binfest commence!

There are plenty of mid-lower table PL clubs keeping tabs on Bridcutt. They wouldn't stand by and see he picked up for a bargain without attempting to outbid.

Surely, surely, SURELY... it'd make more sense for Bridders to try and get us up in the next 6 months, and if that doesn't happen, he could jump ship elsewhere (and we wouldn't knock him for it) for more money than Sunderland might be able to offer, given that they could easily go down?

Stack your cold logic up against his agent whispering slyly in his ear about the untold riches waiting for him back in Gus's arms and there may not be much of a contest.

We understand that Sunderland have offered Brighton the loan signing of David Moberg Karlsson as part of the deal #SAFC #BHAFC

You're ignoring several factors.

1) There is still far more chance of Sunderland being in the EPL next season than us.
2) They will pay him loads more than us.
3) He is a Gus man.

As soon as an offer is accepted he'll be on the A23.

Without a shadow of doubt he will go in my view and it is not the end of the world at all, TB has stated any transfer fees will be re-invested into the team immediately.

He may well be a good player, but that's a bit cheeky of Sunderland seeing as offering us a 19-year-old winger they paid £1.5m for in the summer is clearly just a ploy to give him experience rather than help us. They can't seriously think such a loan signing would make any difference to our desire to sell a first-team player. It could also indicate Gus has got an incredibly small amount of money available to him, if he's having to try and sweeten deals with promises of loans.

assuming this deal still includes buckley (as mentioned earlier) the loan of a winger could mean we wouldnt have to replace buckley at an inflated january price and have more time to find a suitable replacement and therefore save money

Yup, my thoughts exactly. The thing is, Gus has probably been on the phone to Liam with the promise that if he's willing to sign then he'll do everything he can to get a deal done whatever it takes. If the SAFC board have told him to lower the wage bill then this may be his only option. TB must be laughing his socks off. We don't need/want to sell if the offer isn't up to scratch and TB won't be held to ransom by the player. This was proved by the fact that Liam didn't go in the summer. Liam is desperate for his chance though, and I believe he'll be gone very soon.
