Can't for the life of me see how the one at the top of this page is Western Road/North St/Dyke Road. What's the road going downhill? Did they demolish something?

The building on the left is the only one still standing.

The Bovril building is now that Art Deco thing where the Imperial Arcade is.

Good find Doc. Look at the one of Volks Railway and see how much shingle is now under the tracks. That must be at the end of the Aquarium where the parade of shops start. The beach in those days looks like at least 8 Metres below today's level.
