Time for us to get furious about a lack of Albion representation in a made up list created by 20 journos. No players in the 71-100 position although it appears there are 11 Argentinian players included so Ali Mac must be in there somewhere, right!?

It seems to be focused on performances in 2022 including the World Cup, but Lloris, really?

Otamendi wasn't even in the top 25 at Man City. 100th best player in the world?
He's not played for City in three years!

He's currently captaining a free-scoring, table topping Benfica side who won their Champions League group despite having both PSG and Juve in it. He also won the World Cup, and the Finalissima. Absolutely deserves to be on that list.

Alexis in at 47 and I assume Brightons only player present.

47 Alexis Mac Allister

Like his Argentina colleague Enzo Fernández, Mac Allister has the ability to play almost three positions at once, and after getting the call for the team’s second World Cup match with Poland, such flexibility proved key to his country’s triumph. His performances in Qatar make him much-coveted; a player it will cost a significant fee to prise away from Brighton. Under both Graham Potter and latterly Roberto De Zerbi, Mac Allister’s drive has been a crucial part of the south coast club’s continuing rise, and once Argentina made his wild card selection, after two-and-a-half-year absence, they reaped the ultimate reward.

The rest of the Brighton squad must be in the top 40...
