For me what was particularly noticeable today, in what was a good win for the Albion, was that, for once, there were leaders on the pitch throughout the team. At the back Butters marshalled the back four well, in the midfield there was Thomson who organised and was everywhere and up front Forster, as skipper, was constantly talking (particularly to the lino second half!).

Murray deservedly gets credit for his 2 goals and general play but having leaders throughout the team is also a very important commodity.

Good point, a couple of nippy wingers and we could make those play-offs.

We've definitely been lacking that, probably since Cullip left - in what sense did Hammond ever act like much of a "leader" on the pitch? Nicky Forster is a natural captain, in addition to his other obvious talents.
