FFS, just get over it. It isn't as if we bang on constantly about the last player we let go on a free and was a massive success at the Weed.

How many times - it was not the money, he would have taken less and a shorter contract to stay (he had just had a kid and did not want to move - that is why he still lives in Brighton). Poyet did not rate him and let him go before we had a replacement.

Yes because it's one of the biggest managerial f*** ups in our history like it or not.

How is it? People have conveniently re-written history to suit that agenda - we were trying to get him to sign for TWELVE months but he ran his contract down. HE RAN IT DOWN. At the time we couldn't afford the money he was asking for, so he left. The fact that players at Albion may or may not be on more now is irrelevant - it's 2 years down the line and our budget has changed since then. And it's funny how last season all those claiming it to be a f*** up weren't quite so loud when he scored SIX goals - if we'd paid him what he wanted and he'd been similarly underwhelming then people like you would be saying 'caving in to his demands was the biggest f*** up in our history'. Just move on for Christ's sake, no player is EVER bigger than the club. Not one. Murray thought he was and was rightfully shown the door, what he did after is none of our f***ing business.

Given that this thread makes us look like squabbling muppets and the originator cannot spell the word 'two', is the OP a Palace fan fishing?

How's Debbie working out you palace twat?

Very well. Top class today and was good against Watford too. Linking up with Glenn more often than not.

Be sure to watch the featured game on the FLS tonight. We were f***ing brilliant - should've won by 5 or 6 :)

We did not offer hem a contract in December - at the time I thought that was stupid as he would have commanded a fee of at least 500K in the summer even if we didn't want to keep him.

Poyet offered him a contract for 2 years which he refused. That is not letting him go. He lives in Brighton because his new partner lived in Brighton. It's amazing how people are twisting facts to suit their agenda. Poyet doesn't negotiate contracts, he just tells the directors who he wants. At the time it was Ken Brown, Stephenson & Tony Bloom doing business.

I bought a lovely Kumquat at the open market on London Road a few years back. It had to be cooked within three days so I did it stuffed with red peppers. Obviously this was before they razed the place to the ground, but who could forget such an admittedly working class institution as the open market with Aaron's Bikes and a couple of other bike repair shops as well as all of the various food/meat places. You can't but help reflecting on the butchers in the open market and thinking that even back then they could have been selling us horse instead of pork or beef ( another triumph for the vegetarians of Brighton and Hove while you pathetic murderers continue to eat your disgusting offal and such like while owning dogs, cats and such like).

Maybe but not for the wages would expect for a championship striker - 10K / week would have kept him.

Lovely to have you back, you odious little spunkbubble. Now we've had confirmation that you ARE in fact the welching little prick Seaside, will you be paying up what you owe to REMF or will you continue to shamelessly mug off charities, in line with your fetid little club's most basic instinct?
