I had heard it was a really good film, but it turned out to be quite boring and have a film with one of the worst ending I've ever seen.

Definitely this. Absolute shite. Don't know about the ending though as I never got that far.

Some strange choices here. Seven ? ER, ok then. Saving Private Ryan ?. Ok I can take Warhorse, not everyone's cup of tea but I bloody loved it so there.
