Weird refereeing performance. Actually gave the keeper a yellow for timewasting in the first then let him (and their number 7, 19, 52) get away with murder.

Cheating ****s.
It’s always the same. Ref’s never have the guts to produce a second yellow for time wasting. This is they’d only need to do it now and again and the message would get through that it’s too much of a risk and it would stamp out all this anti football time wasting play acting rubbish.

This.

First half was great - second half shite. Knew the moment the keeper was booked he would get away with anything in the second half.

Spineless ****.

Shame we didn't get a second. The way they reacted in the few minutes after the first was revealing. A second soon after would almost certainly have seen a handful of further bookings.

I’ve thought for a while that any player going down holding his head the ref should call on physios. Don’t ask him if he wants them, neither of you are experts. If he has a head knock he should get immediate treatment. Duty of care and reckon we would see less of it if they have do go off every time.

Especially as they now have that 30 second off the pitch rule. They would have been down to 10 men for about 10 minutes!

Second half Roma managed that game brilliantly with very little gamesmanship.

We did make it easier for them by being totally toothless in front of goal mind you.
Sorry but that is not the game I watched.

We didn't take our chances that is true but Roma fell over, wasted time, argued with the ref, fained injury and tired to goad our players into reactions.

Roma had an offside kick or foul at around 80 mins. Mancini lines up to kick it...waits 20 seconds then steps over it and leaves it for the keeper. Ref blew up went charging towards him while reaching for his pocket and then bottled it when he realised Mancini was already booked and he'd have to send him off. It's not in shot on the TV coverage.
