Fright Night Throws Up A Scary Amex Stat

Last nights well deserved 1-1 draw with Watford means that in our first 3 seasons at the Amazing Amex (or Wonky Warehouse) the first 7 league games have produced the following results -

2011/12 - W2 D3 L2
2012/13 - W2 D3 L2
2013/14 - W2 D3 L2

:eek::eek::eek:

So all those slating the team & Oscar don't despair hope springs eternal

Our next 7 league games have produced the following

2011/12 - W6 D0 L1
2012/13 - W3 D3 L1

So here's hoping that Blackburn, Barnsley, Leicester, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Birmingham & Leeds produce another 2011/12 ! :albion2:

I think there is also some stat that we haven't won any games in October since the Amex opened (home or away games)- can someone confirm that?

Thankfully, October is now out of the way as far as football is concerned, and a spanking of Doncaster beckons

I do believe the next set in the series is W0 D6 L1

The 3 teams we've beaten so far are Birmingham, Burnley & Bolton, so if we only beat teams beginning with B then we'll win 4 of them.

That is an EXCELLENT stat, given our impending run of games.

How are we against teams beginning with D?

I heard yesterday that we haven't won an late / evening kickoff at the AMEX ever! Surely that isn't true?

We won our first three evening games. Gillingham and Sunderland in the cup and Cardiff in the league. It took the WORLD FAMOUS Liverpool to bring that run to an end.

Just browsing the evening games, we do seem to have quite a poor record.

This is an excellent stats thread. Albeit with slightly bad results.

Cardiff was an away game, shirley? Just going from memory is Sheff Weds last season the only evening league game we have won at the Amex?

In our league home games this season we are yet to have 2 of the same result in a row

LWDWDLD

So we're either going to win or lose the next home game.
