It was never classy it was very popular much like prusecco is now

Babycham was always marketed as a posh drink, the adverts, the glasses etc, it was the 60s / 70s drink for females to be seen drinking.......as for taste etc ......I guess thats down to the individual........I had a couple of bottles earlier....it tasted ok as it goes

Glass of champagne on the i360 at 4.00pm
Pint of Pilsner in the tempest bar on the seafront
Pint of meantime lager somewhere in the laines
Pint of word lager in the north laines brewery
2 cans of estrella in meat and liquor (to wash down the triple burger)?
Back home for some Rioja

On a point of pedantry I thought they only sold Nyetimber English sparkling wine on the i360?

Look I am of that time and no it was never Posh it was popular a drink to get your chav girl drunk on and cheap for the effect much like black tower, martinis and blue nun were "posh".
