Four Four Two Season Preview

There's two points here - firstly, the 'how big (or small) club are we? Last time we went up we were minnows punching above our weight, with one of the, if not the, smallest ground (in terms of crowd capacity, anyway, if not in acres covered!). This time, on crowds and crowd capacity, we'll be up amongst most of the rest - how much difference that makes remains to be seen.
Secondly, how well will we do? Well, our main weakness last season was defending against set pieces and high balls into the box (especially late on in games) and better teams in the Championship are likely to take full advantage of that (think Stoke away last season) - and this is one area where we haven't strengthened. So - 12th. place? Well, part of me will be disappointed if we don't do better than that, but while my heart says let's barn-storm this division like we did last season, my head says 12th. wouldn't be a bad outcome. Roll on kick off - we'll soon have a better idea!
