I used to work on the local RAG in Peterborough.

Safe to say Clarky's rants were legendary among reporters. Every Friday night she'd call the office PISSED out of her face banging on about some thing or the other. Couldn;t print hardly any of what she said.

I also lived next door to her for a while. I think a buddha statues "borrowed" from her garden at one of the house parties could still be there.........

She lost her seat to the Tories after two terms after Labour basically abandoned her campaign becuase she was such a liability. Then two months later she defected to the Tories - not that they wanted her either.

Last I heard she was applying for press office jobs in London..........
