The only ones that spring to mind:

Steve Coppell
Steve Heighway
Brian Hall
Alan Smith - not the Leeds one
Barry Horne
Gerry Fell - early '70s BHA, or did I dream this (the degree, not the player)?
Charlie Oatway - University of Life

Any more you can think of?

Adams doesn't have a degree.

He was on my mates Foundation sports science course at Brunel last year and didn't transfer to the main course this year.

I think Lee Chapman had a degree.

Robbie Earle must be about the plummiest and most articulate footballer ever to have donned a pair of football boots. The intellectual chasm between him and Vinnie in the Dons changing room must have been immeasurable.

Believe it or not....the Elephant Man Dowie at Palace has a degree, as does Steve Palmer at QPR.

Dowie presumably has a Masters in Ugly Studies.

He is Brighton born and bred ( went to the same schools as Steve and his sister ).

When he was at Watford his nickname was The Prof apparently.

I've seen Matt Lawrence in the pub with Watto.

Please don't tell me he has the brains to study for a degree? I would be stunned.
