Vicente Rodriguez Guillen in talks to return to Brighton and Hove Albion FC next month, after retiring from football in 2014.

Negotiations currently taking place in Miami, FL.
Current situation deems the move unlikely, but very possible pending certain clauses.

This is a part of the ongoing conversations.
Player initially with view to becoming coach depending on the result of this season.

It was never about replacing Chicksen though, he spent quite a lot of last season out on loan. It is about replacing Calderon and, as I assume Rosenior will be focusing on his preferred right back position, it will be a left back. Surely replacing Chicksen would mean signing a player who we immediately make available for loan.

To be fair Chicksen was the second specialist left back. So i would say it is about replacing Chicksen, but with a higher quality and established player that we don't have to loan out.

While mentioned with no inside information I would look at Richie De Laet as the fourth full back. Can cover both sides, a natural replacement for Bruno, did a job for Boro when needed and now back with Leicester without a real future

Hasnt he had a serious injury so may take some time to get back to full fitness. How long does Bong have left on his contract.
