would it be a problem getting back to brighton after match? how late do the trains run back

Could probably chill in London for a bit, there must be plenty of all night stuff going on there and then get the first or second train back in the morning. Although that may cause some problems with tickets. I'm off to National Rail to check....

Amazingly, there are two that would get me back to Brighton around midnight. At that rate I reckon I could even get back to Eastbourne.

Superb, I'm deffo going by train. Have to keep an eye out for maintanence works though.

Can anyone tell me how near the Stadium of Light is to Newcastle airport?

You have to get the Metro into Newcastle,about 20 minutes and then on from there to Sunderland,where the ground has its own Metro Station,I have been told an hour from Newcastle Airport but dont take my word on it!
