The emergency services are currently meeting at what's called Gold Command -- police HQ in Lewes, when there's a major incident. After that they'll put out a statement, apparently.

afraid it's true. My old mans a fireman in Hereford & Worcester...just left East Sussex. he's lost a couple of his mates.

There seem to have been 5 people taken to the Eastbourne DGH (four discharged, the life of the other not in danger) and 7 taken to the RSCH (two are in a serious condition and five with more minor injuries), according to the hospitals.
