It looks like we won't be live on ITV (2nd round) IF we get past Woking on Tuesady.

Would ESPN cover the same teams twice?

"The FA have confirmed that the following ties are designated for ITV highlights.

SATURDAY 27 NOVEMBER 2010

Brighton & Hove Albion or Woking v FC United of Manchester

Dover Athletic v Brentford or Aldershot Town"

Just because ITV show highlights doesnt mean another channel (or perhaps even ITV) wont show the match live?

ESPN or ITV could still show it live, the highlight choices dont mean anything do they?

I would have thought the fact that they are showing extended highlights makes it much MORE likely to be the live game. Looks like they are simply covering their bases with the other game in case we don't beat Woking (and hoping that Brentford beat Aldershot).

So ITV will show live either:

Brighton & Hove Albion v FC United of Manchester

Dover Athletic v Brentford

If both us & Brentford go out they'll have a third choice lined up

If the match isn't shown live on ITV , Albion fans with a motorised satellite dish should be able to pick up the live feed as its normally 4:2:0 and unencrypted.
