Never really thought of Australia, South Africa and New Zealand as villages.
South Africa doesn't play League. The only 3 nations to play League are Australia, NZ and GB. Even in those countries, it is very regional in Australia & GB, and of secondary importance in NZ. Russia & France are the growth nations, but in truth the game has no global reach. Hence the "village" impression.

Rugby Union for me - unsure whether its the physicality of the game or all those strapping men in tight shirts.:D

Paul Roos is a legend though.

:clap2: :clap2:

But not as much as that Dipierdominico - an aboriginal long haired thug who waded into the crowd and punched two blokes lights out because they called him a !!!!. Good man. Rather like our very own Eric Cantona. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Dipper is most definitely not Aboriginal he is in fact Italian.

As for favourite football code outside of the World Game. Rugby League and I support the Sydney Roosters over here in Australia. I like the Aussie Rules also.
