Fastest Browser

Okay, we're not playing today so I'm not too bothered about football. I've been using Chrome for some time now but out of curiosity I thought I'd try Safari.

Safari wins hands down. Don't know about Opera or any other browser (I discount Firefox and obviously IE in all of it's forms) but I'd be interested to know what other people think.

I've only ever had safari, so not sure but would like to see if there are faster than this.

just switched to chrome from firefox. Definitely faster for me. Can't compare to anything else (other than ie) though.

To compare, you need to have used them on the same machine with the same number of tabs and windows open.

I like Chrome, hated firefox, Opera i found difficult to use, and cant say i have tried Safari but thought that was for apples

chrome is super quick - only others tried are mse and ff, both super slow. faster than chrome exists? wow.

Same here but my Mac is quite old and cannot run the latest Safari.

This PC has 64 bit Windows Enterprise, Safari and Chrome are fine with it, the former is just a little faster. However, I don't need reminding it's both Apple and American, have gone back to Chrome.

Yes, Firefox has got rather bloated and IE 9 gives it a run for it's money (not a great recommendation).

I downloaded Safari and got the home page up etc, but cant work out how to get the web pages showing in rows, as in the pictures (a la itunes layout) any ideas

Firefox started going down the pan a couple of years back, not really sure why.

Chrome does the job wonderfully
