Good luck with China manufacturing Porsches, and Mercs.

Or Bentleys - which are made here and export in very large numbers to both China and Arab states. Something that would continue if we left the EU.

Erm. Bentleys will continue to be made here for as long as it is economically advantageous to Volkswagen to build them here. If we leave the EU that might very well not be the case, and instead of building just SOME in their two Bentley plants in Germany, they'll shift all production over there.

Bbc are hardly impartial when commenting on UKIP considering one of their manifesto pledges was to significantly cut down the organisation.

The same quote has been used in the Telegraph

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/ukip/11605216/Ukip-in-crisis-live.html

If that feed is correct looks like Farage has polarised the party, between those who support him fully and those in the leadership who think - “He is very deceitful. He is a backstabber," said one. “He falls out with people, treads on them and walks on. This is the last time he does that. I hope he will be gone by the end of the week.” (Quoted from the piece by Matthew Holehouse posted at 16.34)

This has all the hallmarks of a party which has grown quicker than its own administrative mechanisms and is thus reliant on the leadership as opposed to the party itself. Farage really does need to let his party decide whether he stays or goes through some internal democratic process otherwise UKIP may well end up splintering through factional infighting into two separate parties.

Are fathers and grandfathers fought 2 world wars to prevent a Europe dominated by Germany.

We have seen how the euro has devastated some countries in the EU, and at the time it was introduced Labour wanted to join it.

This country like Norway ect is capable to run its own affairs and keep control over are borders.

We are a small island, and just because we are not part of the euro and are economy is doing well, we can not let everyone from eastern Europe and elsewhere overcrowd the south east, as this is where most of us live.

Nigel Farage invented Ukip, 4 million voters voted for him. Next time there maybe more, and the dream of an independent United Kingdom free to trade with our friends in Europe and the rest of the world will become a reality.

Not what the Bentley directors were saying when I meet them yesterday. For the record, ALL Bentley's are built here. SOME of the body work is shaped in Germany. They are also investigating heavily in new factory and office facilities in Crewe to the tune of millions - given these facilities aren't due to come online until late 2017 / early 2018, why would they do that if they feared we would withdraw from the EU ?

Exactly, two wars and now Germany dominate. The blitz, who was hardest hit, the East End, what are certain areas like now in the East End........well let's just say those that were bombed at the time would not recognise it.

Nope. Not ALL. Some Flying Spurs are assembled in Dresden. Admittedly a small number.

And I agree with your last sentence - they wouldn't invest IF they thought we might withdraw. What they would do IF we actually did, is entirely different discussion.

Farage could have quit easily bottled QT last night. Good to here that they are not going to accept the £600,000 either.

Watched QUOTE Farage handled things well. After months of hardly a UKIP representative, he gets invited to be grilled about his resignation. He spoke well even got a bit of backing from the Tory and Brian May.

It was probably one of the best QT Farage has been on.
