Was just thinking, is there any way of setting up some sort of camera overlooking the Falmer site just to prove how few people actually bother with this "amazing place of natural beauty"?
Just wondered whether it would prove any point that while nobody bothers with the place anyway, a potential 12,000 people who would happily turn up there once a fortnight or more are being denied the opportunity.
I suppose it could be something set up and then left for a week or so just staring at empty land that no one ever walks on.
Kind of saying: "well, you think this is a really important place and yet none of you ever go there and you're bent on destroying the opportunity for thousands of your townfolk to actually enjoy the land."
