Ignoring gate receipts, pie sales etc, anyone know the FA Cup prize money that we would have got for beating Newcastle?

Also, what did Palace get for making the League Cup semis?

Last question, what percentage gate receipts will we get at Liverpool?

Is this information required for a future thread on how lucrative your cup run was compared to ours ? or am I being paranoid ??

I thought gate receipts get split 50/50 for FA cup games??

i think it's 45/45/10. no idea where the 10 goes though. just seem to remember hearing/reading somewhere that you get 45%.

Third Round Proper winners (32) £67,500
Fourth Round Proper winners (16) £90,000
Fifth Round Proper winners (8) £180,000
Sixth Round Proper winners (4) £360,000
Semi Final winners (2) £900,000
Semi Final runners-up (2) £450,000
Final runners-up (1) £900,000
Final winners (1) £1,800,000

Palace would probably have got less looking at last seasons prize money (winners £100,000, runners up £50,000)

We get 50% on gate receipts I believe

Thought it was more than that because the ESPN fee was £120,000...but then of course we had to split with Newcastle....not sure of the ratio...

I dont think so. I think that all expenses and staging the game etc are paid and the profit is split 45% to each club and 10% to the FA.

I think TV money is a straight 50/50 split because the company has already paid the FA for the rights to televise the games.

Oh yeah, you're right. I think 10% goes to the FA but when Wrexham played because they are a non-league team I think the FA waved their share

Absolutely not, genuine question of interest. Given our financial history I would never use money as a bragging right, not even against a palace fan, and that's the honest truth.
