My point is that if it starts to rain and the wind is coming from behind the ends, everyone in that stand is going to get SOAKED.

If you look at Boavista's ground (Estadio do Bessa) only 3 miles or so down the road, it offers much better protection from the elements, so they definitely do get wind and rain in Portugal.......
