Any news on the weather?
Boycott was his usual moaning self, saying that we should have got 500.
But I reckon some of the batting yesterday whould have shook up the Aussies, if only one more of the middle order boys had performed. In the end it was a great score and some great batting.

118-3 - WICKET! Martyn cuts his fourth boundary but then is run out by Michael Vaughan. Superb work from the England skipper who picks the ball up one-handed, running in from mid-on and twists to hit the stumps at the non-striker's end with a direct throw. That's lunch, back at 1.10pm.

a single. Vaughan nails the stumps and Martyn's a goner
