650 needed - at least! A day of KP and then let the bowlers do the bizzo for three days.

It is great to see his reaction to getting his ton. The lad looks delighted in getting it and shows how much he wants to play for England. I can't remember him celebrating quite so much in previous innings.

KP nice one sunshine:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Batting at the moment for England is as easy as it gets in test cricket.

Having watched the highlights last night Sri Lanka got some terrible lbw decisions against them and the England batsmen can count themselves lucky.

What will England's tactics be? I reckon they'll look to bat through the afternoon session and then pile on the hurt in the first hours after tea. 650-7 declared at 17.00hrs.

I don't see much point in the likes of Panesar batting, let the bowlers have a real slog if they ever get in.

After Read's tantrum Jones can cement his position with a nifty 50.

Tend to agree. We will want to have a good hour of bowling tonight.

Think it depends on the weather. With forecasts of showers tomorrow it may be worth batting out the day. Maybe give them an awkward 6-10 overs tonight and hope for overcast conditions tomorrow to skittle them out.
