England v Australia -Day 5

End of over 38 (4 runs) England 126/5 (lead by 132 runs)
SK Warne 16-0-55-3 - Vauxhall End
KP Pietersen 34* (57b 2x4 2x6) PD Collingwood 0* (1b)

we still need another 100 and to absorb another 22 overs for safety

have to say that yet again this is going to be a truly magnificent finish. My ticker could just do without it that's all.

Pieterson nearly gives another one away but survives.

BTW, whose to say that the Aussies won't struggle to get the runs themselves even if we are dismissed?

Fair point - but they have nothing to lose we do - witch makes it worse to watch.

I don't buy the notion that the Aussies don't have anything to lose - of course they do, they will be heavily criticised in Australia if we regain the Ashes.

At the moment they dont its like being 2-1 down in the last few mins of a football match - they will attack attack attack, they are not expected to win.
