Following this at work, anyone have a link to the goal?

Pleased to hear that both Jake and Solly are doing well.

Sounds like they are doing really well. Having two Brighton players playing for the u21s and doing well can only be good for them and the club.

I'm not a big fan of football cliches, I hate football cliches that are clearly wrong. David James: "He (JFC) would not have struck a sweeter ball all season." If only he knew!

Must have ten or so years ago, possibly even three with Zamora, Harding and Hinshelwood all representing England at under 21 level.

Maybe Hinsh & Harding together but Zamora was older than them so wouldn't have played at the same time.

March is no. 18 leaping out of the way to let JFC have a clear shot.

Have we ever had two players in an England squad of any age before?

There was an interesting article in the Argus yesterday by Howard Griggs discussing our previous U-21 internationalists. Apparently in 1980, in a European U-21 Championship semi-final 2nd leg match in Jena against East Germany, Peter Ward started (as an overage player) and Steve Foster came on as a sub.

Adam Hinshelwood and Dan Harding were both in the squad for European Championship qualifiers against Wales and Azerbaijan in October 2004.

In addition to Ward and Foster, the following have made U-21 appearances whilst contracted to the Albion:- Andy Ritchie, Gary Stevens, Terry Connor (as an overage player), Bobby Zamora and Dan Harding. Perry Digweed was called up for 3 squads, but had to pull out each time (either for club commitments or injury); Adam Hinshelwood made the bench, but didn't appear; and Lewis Dunk was also an unused sub twice in November 2011.

why does JFC drop his head after he scored like he used to be a Qatari national or he has just scored an own goal?
