We've seen it all at brighton, a cup final in eighty three
A few good seasons in between which are still so dear to me
Barry Lloyd a chump we thought but then he found Mike Small
We were on the brink again that could have changed it all!
Down the leagues we slid, Archer was a clown!
I can't stop smiling at all the Focus DIY's that are now all closing down!
Dick Knight came and saved us and took us to Withdean
Some of the bestest times that the club has ever seen!
In our darkest hour we all had so much fight
At one point we even put our faith in good old Leon Knight!
Sir Dick handed over to Mr Bloom who'd had a straight heart flush
And now we're in a stadium that is amazing and all plush!
Gustavo arrived...a novice manager in the making
Forget league one survival the title he ended up taking!
No longer are we a big fish in a league one little pond
We are already looking at taking things far far beyond.
But time we need so lets give everyone some slack
As all those years ago it all did look so black!
Keep your head down Gus and don't look for that media light
Just buckle down and look at how much we've had to fight
Not many things ever get close to me
But Brighton and Hove Albion I'll always be
