Just want to show the hypocrisy of all this:

The Guardian's Jonathan Freedland asks why Liam Fox appears to think saying sorry is enough:

"Only in politics is the mere act of saying sorry deemed to be sufficient punishment. You don't see rioters walk away from court simply because they had the grace to put their hands up. Nor can they evade a jail sentence by regretting that they had allowed 'the distinction between legal and illegal to be blurred'. Even Wayne Rooney gets a three-match ban for blurring the distinction between his studs and an opponent's leg.

"But somehow politics is placed in a separate, more convenient, category. In politics, a quick mention of the s-word is meant to close the matter, enabling everyone - including the culprit - to move on, as if simply saying that you take responsibility is the same as taking it."

What rubbish this reporter spouts. Get your facts straight Jonathan Freedland! How can you compare politicians to prem footballers. Imagine a politician: Did a nazi salute (result: a meager 7000euro fine) to fans regularly and was a self proclaimed facist like Paulo Di Canio; Or missed a drug test deliberately (rio ferdinand: 8 month ban) because he knew he'd test positive; Or deliberately hacked (assaulted) a player on the pitch, assaulted a cab driver, STUBBED OUT A LIT CIGAR IN A YOUTH PLAYERS EYE, the footballer in question 'APOLOGIZED' for his action, yes Jono he 'APOLOGIZED'!!!. And hey presto all is forgiven. 6 months later he assaulted an everton fan whilst on a pre-season tour in Thailand. He only stopped kicking this guys head in because a team mate pulled him off this guy. His punishment resulted him being referred to 'anger management'. hahaha what that's it??? Yep that's it come back to work monday, all is forgiven AGAIN! 6 months later the cretin in question handed in a transfer request which his employers turned down. He later said he was being a little 'impetuous' and his employers 'rewarded' him with a lucrative four year deal. 7 months later he exposed his backside to opposition fans, Police looked into it, but decided to take, 'no further action'. He went on to assault ANOTHER teammate, this time the victim received head injuries and a detatched retina. This list goes on and on and on. The scumbag in question is Joey Barton. And all these people NEVER lost their jobs (although Barton eventually did after that last incidient) for their actions. NOW put that into context to what Liam Fox has done. When you put him next to them he is whiter than white. And yet he's the one being hounded out of his job!!!!! Mad!!! Worlds gone mad!!!!! It's got EVERYTHING to do with MONEY or how easily replacable you are. These footballers are worth MILLIONS and Liam Fox could be replaced tomorrow, because there are loads of people queueing up to take his place. Put that in your pipe Jono!

RANT OVER! MEH!

I wonder if Mrs Fox has joined her husband on as many trips abroad as Adam Werrity evidently did? She's been oddly silent throughout all this, don't you think?

He hasn't said sorry for doing it though. He's said sorry for being in a position for people to accuse him of doing something wrong. It's the new age politician who puts the blame onto those that want to accuse him, especially when they're as guilty as a Tory scum (as the saying goes).

This bloke. Probably just as much of a twat, and as an added bonus, they won't even have to pay for new nameplates on the door.

ITS A DISGRACE!! Even when she did join him sexy Mr W was usually ensconced in a posh hotel up the road so Foxy could pop out for a breath of fresh air when the mood came upon him!!

It is reported that several people paid for his Best Man to travel with Dr.Fox they would expect some favours for their outlay so he jumped before he was pushed,no sympathy for him as he had been warned yet ignored advice.
