I saw one driving up the A24 on the way to the '91 play-off final.

Seeing as we were playing the Magpies that day I remember thinking that was a bad omen and we all spent the rest of the journey desperately searching for another one.

Needless to say we didn't spot another and the rest was history.....

:lolol:

Brill!! Just reminds me outside Millenium with pint in hand looking up and seein seagulls flying over the North end and just knew
IT WAS OUR DAY!!

I wear two pairs of lucky pants on important days. So far, we won the play-offs and i was successful in 2 job interviews. I don't want to wear the luck out though.

British Upper Beeding
I do it always. If I see one too late without getting the salute in I end up in a mess all day. Living in Upper Beeding and traveling to Worthing to work I therefore spend a lot of my time saluting or being in a mess. Luckily, being an old fashioned sort of a boy, I like saluting.

Touch wood.

That superstition arose from peddlars selling 'original pieces of the cross' to people to bring them luck and heal them from diseases.

Load of rubbish.
