[Albion] Do you play Lamptey tomorrow?

Easy YES for me

However, a word of caution. Potter tends to rest young players and not use them in consecutive games.

So would not be a huge surprise for Lamptey to be benched.

I said on another thread both Lamptey and Bernardo as they are both blessed with pace.

It would be harsh to drop Lamptey after such an impressive debut.

I think you are right, especially about Bernardo starting; I can see a return to the squad for all the Covid-3.

Yes to cope with United pace on the left wing (Rashford).
But I expect Montoya to actually start for his experience.
It’s what Brighton do.....Shame

I’ll say yes but I won’t be surprised if he doesn’t even make the bench as we play Schelotto and have Montoya on the bench

Potter’s selections move in weird ways

No. Mostly because we’re not playing tomorrow. I’d play him today though.

I’m struggling to think of a better debut for the Albion, he has to start tomorrow IMO.
It will probably help him that there are no fans, it must be far less pressure.

Abdul Razak? (might have been home debut though)

With regards to the OP’s question, if there was a week until the next game, absolutely get him on the pitch. As the next game is Sat and a crucial 3 points we are more likely to get, my head says hold the tyro back for Norwich. Once we have 36 points, let him loose every game!

United’s defence is very vulnerable to being run at by a pacy player, I’d 100% play him as he can attack at pace and keep up with United when they attack us.

I am lumping too much responsibility on this raw young player, aren’t I?

Of course he has to start. Having a great debut then not having confidence placed in your ability next match. Crushing.

It's just normal. Very rare for teenagers to get an uninterrupted run of games in the Premier League.

I expect he will be one of the players who is rotated in and out for the rest of the season
