I was at the ground today, these are just for the FA cup game as a trial and will only be on the East side. They are a mandate for Premier League though!

What is wrong with the club trying to look at ways to boost revenues? You can make a lot more money out of these electronic advertising boards than you can static ones!

Bully for all of you who say you don't care, but I can't focus on the pitch with these damned things. Will spoil it for me.

Jesus wept, does it MATTER!? If it raises enough revenue to keep 30p off a pie and £30 off a season ticket is it really such a problem?

Probably doesn't affect people of certain personality types. Particularly those with no empathy, by the sounds of it.

No empathy because I don't care if the hoardings are electric or not? Brilliant. It's official, some people will literally moan about anything.

isnt there also a rule that if you get into the champions league ( yes I know) the first 4 rows in a stadium near these advertising boards have to be left empty so they are visible with no distractions?

Not really commercialism gone mad then

Champions League has static advertising, but the size of the boards are much bigger than the Prem league advertising so in some grounds it will obscure the view from the first few rows. An example of this was Highbury, but does not happen at the Emirates. I think this is correct but it may be bollocks.
