Couple of lines in todays Star that Brighton have made an enquiry about borrowing Coventry striker Dele Adebola.

I have every faith in McGhee so if he believes he can fill Benji's shoes then so be it, I would not argue.
BUT it is in the Star and the only thing that piece of shit rag is good for it the jokes section!

There was talk not so long ago of him going to Notts County on loan and he played sub at the weekend so it actually looks quite possible. :)

he was hounded out at Leicester City though ... fans really got on his back ...
But similar player to Trev and Rougier and could be ideal

Adebola was the third striker to be signed by Coventry boss in the summer 2003.

Signed for his strength and power up front, the 27-year-old put pen to paper on a two-year contract after turning down a new deal with former club, Crystal Palace.

The Nigerian forward began his career at the highly-regarded Crewe Academy before a £1million move to Birmingham. After scoring 42 goals in 102 matches for the Blues, Dele rejoined manager Trevor Francis at Crystal Palace last August.

Despite suffering with a knee injury which plagued him during 2001 and 2002, Adebola scored seven goals in 28 appearances for the Eagles last season.

Didn't he score against us for Palarse?

As was Trevor Benjamin.

He's basically a big lummock. He works hard, and when he gets going he scares defenders. The weakest part of his game is his close control. He has a pretty poor first touch (the number of times he tried to take the ball down on the chest only for it to bounce ten yards as if it had hit a brick wall, followed by a rapid counter-attack by the other side was scary). Also, he's got the agility and acceleration of a tugboat. He does make things happen though, kind of Emil Heskey style, and will create openings for nippier centre forwards.

He didn't score against you though, The Wookiee.

gosling's about right he's a powerfull man with the control of an goat but when he gets running with the ball there was no getting it back, and for a big man he was very poor in the air,but i would still rate him alot higher than trev.
