As it's in the process of formation, thought it might be helpful to have a separate thread on this. This is the information from articles on the club website although, currently, if you search first team coaches, that area is blank

Andrea Maldera -- match analyst
Andrew Crofts -- u23 coach; assisting with transition
Nick Stanley -- set piece coach
Jack Stern -- goalkeeping coach (formerly assistant goalkeeping coach under Ben Roberts)

Please add as and when additions or changes arise

My understanding from the presser yesterday was that his backroom team from Shaktar would be coming with him once we'd got the Work Permit stuff sorted. So far we had concentrated on RDZ and his assistant, and now they were in place the club would start working on the others.

Don't think all of the Shakhtar boys will come, if PBs mention of "small team" is anything to go by. Also quite sure he referred to Jack Stern as "assistant goalkeeping coach" meaning Roberts will be replaced by someone.

I expect there are some of his ex team that won’t want to relocate/ They may have found jobs back in Italy or would favour that.
Andrea Maldera seems a great addition to the team.

.....replaced by someone coming from Shakhtar with RDZ perhaps? After all, Potter took 'his' GK coach with him - why wouldn't RDZ.

He had 'his 'own' (Italian) GK coach at Shakhtar. Work permits allowing, I'd assume he will come to us.

At least the week leading up to the game training sessions should be pretty straight forward, i'm liking the cautious formation for the Liverpool game, best not to go too batshit too soon.

As previously posted on other threads here is his team from Shakhtar

https://shakhtar.com/en/news/2021/june/18_news/18_coaching-staff/

Thanks for sharing. I gather (but am not ITK) that Possanzini and Bianco are in other jobs so less likely to join, while Teresa, Marcattilii, Tibaudi, Cavali and Bianchi are not currently in work so more likely to join. We'll see what transpires. It's worth adding that Maldera was working in Ukraine but not at Shakhtar (Schevchenko is that link) and his role/title? of 'match analyst' is not too far off the 'technical' role of Bianco, so might be replacement for him.

There was a goalie coach that was senior in the academy, called Justinas Gasiunas, that left to go to Hadjuk Split. A few days after Potter left he posted on his social media he was leaving Split. Could just be a coincidence but might not be! He's GK coach for Lithuanian national team too.

I can't wait to see the first training session when the full team has been assembled....

One would assume his previous assistant coach isn’t coming, hence why Maldera has got that job.

Hopefully couple of the coaches and the goalkeeping coach follow him which would fill the holes we have left.

Davide Possanzini who was assistant at quite a few clubs under De Zerbi is currently U19s manager at Berscia. Second spell managing the youth setup there so maybe he isn't interested in the move to England?

If you look on the BHAFC website it shows a gallery of the first day yesterday which shows a lot of the different staff
