Regrettably, it was a red.
Slightly soft, but you can’t do that.

100% yes. I can see what he was trying to do, but it's a red for sure.

Real time - yes.

Slow motion - yes.

Frame by frame (VAR) - no. The Sheff Utd player clearly kicks back his leg into the area Dahoud is planting his foot into. Dahoud is looking directly at the ball when the leg is thrust back into the path of his boot.

It’s unreasonable that any player should anticipate that, especially as he has no time to adjust his initial movement (see Dale Stephens vs Boro).

You missed an option

'If NO, Dahoud red if it had been an opposition player on an Albion player'

I think we then have 100% saying yes.

Saw it on the concourse when the highlights were shown after - yes. Naughty challenge.

No different to Andone a few years back. Junp too enthusiatically over the ball to shield it from opposing player and unfortunately landed on players calf.
Yet Andone seemded to be hounded out the club following his, lets hope the same doesn't happen again.

The other Albion players detested Andone, respective sports writer Paul Hayward wrote:
“Andone’s farewell party could have been held in a phone box and there would still have been room to move, he was that unpopular”.

Good one to measure the size of the blue and white we’re always right contingent - thought it might even be more than 11%
