Gus Poyet is calling for a strong defensive display ahead of Tuesday night's game against a powerful and direct Dagenham & Redbridge side, at Victoria Road.
The Uruguayan is wary of the Essex side's threat, but with Albion boasting the best defensive record in League One, he has challenged his defenders to physically match the Daggers.
He told seagulls.co.uk, "It's going to be a totally different game compared to what we have played so far because Dagenham are a side that really fight for their lives.
"They are convinced that is the right way for them to play, so they are going to make it complicated for us. They also put a lot of balls into the box, almost as many as Southampton, which means we are going to have to defend a lot."
