That was amazing, the Aussies looked unbeatable in London and we have just won the GOLD in a new World Record, check it out. Geraint who could easily have a shot of winning in Roubaix turns down the road to go for GOLD in 2012.

A quality ride by both teams though. Who'd have thought 5 years ago you could ride sub-3:54 and lose?!

Did any one see Swift win the Scratch race as well, almost perfect ride, two GOLDS and a BRONZE on day one with that great World Record, The Brits and Aussies will be hammering out amazing times up until the olympics lets hope our boys can stay focused.

I love C Boardie quote re The Secret Squirrel Club & Dave B, during Bejing.

DB said, in a press conference:-
'If you think thats fast, wait till you see what Wiggo is doing'

The whole SS club :facepalm:ed

Paris-Roubaix Winner Betting Odds

Bet 365 have Edvald Boasshagen at 25/1

Paddy Power have Niki Terpstra at 33/1 thought he looked okay at Flanders

Both could be good e/w bets with no Cancellara

Ha ha ha ha

I see Sky are offering a reasonable 14/1 on Juan Antonio Flecha.

Where as on the 27th of March, they had him @ 1680/1. Lucky I risked £2 ew.

I like the look of those EBH odds, he was close in Flanders but for getting caught behind a crash he would have been up there. Westra I like as a long shot at 66-1.

Flecha at 14-1 seems a bit tight, though 20-1 is available which seems about right. Hushovd is way too short as well, no value there for someone who finished 55th in Flanders.

I much prefer Paris-Roubaix to the Tour of Flanders - it seems a much harder, bleaker race and I love the fact that fater all those cobbles, it end on the smooth Roubaix velodrome

The best race on the calendar!

The only concession that should be made is, perhaps, double bar-tape!

Was it something to do with Belgian's named Tom and Swissers named Fabian? ???
I have absolutely no idea what I was bibbling on about.

It wouldn't have been either of them.
Usually it's just a little tit-bit I've picked up in an interview, but this time nothing!

Well with FC absent for Paris - Roubaix it leaves a lot of folks, myself included, with a lot of spare cash to flash in the fantasy cycling for Paris - Roubaix. Not sure if we get 4 transfers for this one again ? Hoping so.

Edit: Just checked and it appears we do get 4 transfers. FC, Oscar & a domestique missing for me, so a few necessary changes a foot.
