My next pick may not have even been considered 4 months ago, but after slipping seamlessly back into the Chelsea midfield, he may be the top singing in the Winter Window. Knows how to dictate play, and after holding it all together against Liverpool, he showed his defensive qualities too. Having played in 4 countries I give you

Nemanja Matic
Gazwag, your up!

I was so close to picking Matic a couple of rounds ago that I'd written the details and just needed to post it. At the last second I changed my mind and went for someone else.

True story.

Ok now for a centre back. Had to change my keepers category to put in the man who ruined a good first half at Anfield. Who knows in a couple of weeks I might be able to move him into the 2 titles category. He has scored some important goals this season as well for Liverpool. He's made 303 appearances in his career scoring an impressive 25 goals. He has represented Slovakia 66 times as well.

He is Martin Škrtel

Category 5 – Has been the top goal scorer in a top-flight season Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Are you happy that "The Campeonato Baiano is the football league of the state of Bahia, Brazil. The championship has been played since 1905 without interruption." counts as a league title so I can move  man Alves into that category if I need to

There's no way the players in my plan are going to last the next 10 picks.

This is proving very very hard.

I'll be reduced to this soon:

A quite brilliant loophole, from my understanding (which is playing football manager and betting on stupid games) the regional leagues in Brazil are leagues in their own right.

Unless somebody more ITK knows otherwise the Campeonato Baiano counts.

Ok here goes.

On account of having played in 5 different countries (Brazil, Holland, Italy, Spain & France) but more importantly:

Is best mates with ZLATAN & won something called "Thunder Goal of the Season" for Inter.

I draft MAXWELL

So Guy Fawkes is up next, and @Jay Cartwright can steam in anytime?

Rohana I will not be able to get on here until tomorrow so please can I defer my place until the next round if I cease to get here on time??? meaning I take 4 picks next time?

The pick won't get anywhere near you tomorrow.

At a guess, you'll be looking at Friday or Saturday before it'd get to your turn again.

Yep, hopefully the draft pace will pick up tomorrow. Didn't get many picks in today but that's the way it goes.

I can't see us getting through to you tomorrow, if we do then I'll take both my goes and whenever you get on next you can make your two missed picks.

The pick won't get anywhere near you tomorrow.

At a guess, you'll be looking at July or August before it'd get to your turn again.

Fixed. :D

I'm struggling with who to pick next from my list of potentials, who do i pick now and who do i risk selecting later whilst hoping they remain available for me to select them.

I have decided on a versatile and ambidextrous winger, he can play on either flank as well as in the attacking midfielder position. He is noted for his speed, shooting accuracy, capacity to change the rhythm of gameplay and excellent close control

He has represented Spain at Euro 2008 and 2012, winning both tournaments and gaining more than 60 caps but has never played in a world cup (missing 2010 due to injury)

I present Santi Cazorla

My next pick is an excellent left back capable of playing further forward and is linked with a number of clubs every summer. He also has won league titles in two countries, which is useful. He has been sidelined a bit at his current club but he would walk into most teams

Has somebody circulated my team sheet? Is Matt Back Home or Shaolinpunk a front for Tony Pulis?

I'm calling the FA when they open a little later today.

For my 7th pick I decided I needed to sort my fullbacks as I have neglected that position, find a set piece specialist and also a good solid captain. In Category 4 - Plays/Manages outside the "top5" leagues (although he can fit into many other categories) - A legend at Shaktar Donesk playing for them over 260 times, and the most capped player ever for Croatia playing 111 times - the attacking fullback, free kick specialist and my captain - Darijo Srna
