Could the north stand police its self?

I am a STH in the North stand. It is my second season in the same seat. I know the people behind me, almost , but not by name.

I think I know them enough that if they asked me to sit down I would and the same goes for the people in front of me if I asked them.

If the same is true all the way through the stand, which I think it is.

Why do we require stewards telling us when and when not to stand up?

I think they should be seen and not heard until there is trouble.

Tonight the only near trouble I saw was from the stewards threatening to throw people out who did not want to sit down.

to which we then started the 'stand up for the albion' chant, everyone stood up and the stewards looked very silly. so in a way, it is already self policing
