Liverpool look likely to take the case to Switzerland if the ban isn't reduced. Gus could be asked to help out and give supporting statements about Suarez.

Its my opinion. Gus should concentrate on BHAFC for which he is doing a great job. Sorry if this does not agree with the general opinion.

So concentrating on BHAFC doesn't involve talking about other football players when asked by the media. If he had said "no comment" that would have stirred up more suspicion of his friend than him supporting him. Besides when you're involved with a football club, its generally a good idea to keep other football clubs/managers onside (especially bigger clubs) so if you need/want a player from them they may consider it.
