Coming from outside the free travel zone for matches

Couple of questions I would be grateful someone could help me with

1) where does the free travel with ticket start when coming from the train from London (Haywards Heath)

2) Assume season ticket (or match ticket) is used as travel warrant

I'm looking on the club site for this information on travel, and can't find anything about using our tickets for travel: Brighton and Hove Albion | Club | Travel

Can we just show the ticket and travel on any bus or train in the area? And from what time does it start?

I've found this on the bus site: Brighton Hove Bus and Coach Company

So all station staff should know we're allowed to travel with our plastic. Here's hoping.
