Pointless to remark on having a better GD than SCC though when GD is basically in their favour, not ours.

Maybe, but even more ridiculous to even suggest that Steyning Cricket Club have a goal difference at all.

Tell that to the sports gambling billionaire who owns our club. Like practicing penalty shoot outs, it doesn't guarantee success, but, in terms of prediction, it can give an advantage.

Practicing penalty shootouts the way England did was pointless to be fair. Joe Hart would chuck the ball at them, and the player would take a spot kick against him. They should at least have made the player walk from the halfway line with the ball themselves. Try to make it as real as possible (as much as you can without the pressure of tens of thousands of people nearby, and millions watching at home).

Anyway, I'm right with you on the stats. I think even were we to get nil points from here, it's unlikely the others can catch us, thank god.
