Just to clear things up, they are carpet moths not clothes moths, as per my previous thread they do their business in your carpet then fly to your clothes and curtains to carry on munching.

Yeah we've had loads of them this year for the first time. Maybe the excuse I need to actually get up off my arse and change that bedroom carpet then, something I've been meaning to do for about 12 years.

Personally I don't know why anyone still buys wool carpets. Snob value I suppose. They're expensive, harder to get stains out and now I learn that they get INFESTED.

Our house was redeveloped including the carpets and then sold to us. Having said that wool carpets are the best quality but after the moffs will go for sanding our victorian floorboards.
