I bought all of these, even Meaty, beaty, big and bouncy. My son has them all now and plays some of them on his fairly new record deck.

Just bought Meaty Beaty etc for my daughter for £4 as it was scribbled on. Got it home and discovered it said 'Best Wishes, Roger Daltrey'. - result!
Shame he's become a right wing numpty. (Daltrey, not my 11 year old daughter)

Interesting choice for Rush. It’s a brilliant album; I remember seeing them perform Marathon, on the Hold Your Fire tour I think, and it brought a tear to my eye.

Interesting choice for Rush. It’s a brilliant album; I remember seeing them perform Marathon, on the Hold Your Fire tour I think, and it brought a tear to my eye.

Probably wouldn't be that high up on most Rush fans lists but I loved that era for the band and that album is so underated.

There’s one track on Light as a Feather - “What game shall we play today” - which had my two daughters exclaiming “tune!” And singing along every time it came on the car stereo….. and they still would.

The first album I ever bought on the day it was released, and still play it regularly….. but these days on CD.
John Peel after playing the live version of Crossroads…. “And now tell me there are only three of them!”
And the studio album is second to none.

I love it 'tune!!!'. All 3 are great musicians - I'll look up the 'light as a feather', I probably know the tune without knowing it's name. What a shame Chick Corea passed away, just such a talent.
I was lucky enough to see Miles Davis in London (must have been in the 80s??) when he'd moved into his jazz/funk era - I prefer his earlier stuff to be honest, but it was great to see the man live.
Vein Melter is just such a lovely track from Headhunters, so atmospheric.
