Been looking in to going to Chernobyl sometime this year, is it worth it? What else is there to do after the tour?

Obviously I would need a Geiger counter etc

Few England lads went in Euros, decent and pretty safe apparently. Worth doing but is the best part of a day from most "nearby" cities

there are a couple of decent sights online for this, it is only two hours outside kiev. I have always wanted to go and so had a look and found its not expensive either. One think i would advise and this is not a joke, but be careful if you get a tour out there, ive seen alot of pictures and they are notorious for going to highly radiated spots that you should not be going on.
